Class won't dissapear from blackboard

The final grade for my Bio 101-1w2v online class with Jennifer Davis was last May and this class is still present in my Blackboard. I think it's being factored into my GPA. is there any way I can remove it instead of just hiding it?

Answer

Hi Kaylin,

It is normal for your old online classes to remain in your Blackboard account for up to two semesters. This is not currently hurting your GPA. You did receive a grade of F in the Spring semester, so that is holding your GPA down. However, if you retake the class, your new grade will replace your old grade and improve your GPA. The course should disappear from your Blackboard by the end of Fall, so you can just ignore it for now.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
