Why do I have to provide W2’s and tax transcripts if I already input that information on my FAFSA?

Answer

The verification process requires the Financial Aid Office to confirm the data supplied by the student and/or parent(s). By providing the W-2s and Tax Transcripts, the Financial Aid Office can determine eligibility so a student can be awarded.
